Description Austin English 2012-10-04 20:28:47 UTC
Choose the defaults all the way through. Once it's ready to install, it will try to install native .Net and fail. Looking at its log:
[10/04/12,18:24:46] Running system checks
...
[10/04/12,18:24:46] ***ERROR EVENT*** : SYSTEM CHECK:	: OCM product installed Failed

if I run winetricks dotnet20 first, the installer gets further, then hits bug 31882.

Urgh, looks like the installer is checking for mscorlib.dll in the 2.0 framework directory.

It's easy enough to put it there, but I don't like having to individually duplicate every file someone decides to check.

With wine-1.7.5 and wine-mono-4.5.0, install completes successfully. It still fails with wine-mono-0.0.8.
Comment 4 Fiona Ebner 2014-01-04 09:35:01 UTC
Since wine-mono-4.5.0 is default now http://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/commit/608b1e141457dc9653d4783419aa6492ea705d99 I think this bug can be closed. Wine 1.7.10 gets the installation done without problems.

Yup, works here too. Thanks for testing.

Closing bugs fixed in 1.7.11.
