1. Download the latest freegate fg715x.exe from http://dongtaiwang.com/loc/software/fg/715/fg715x.exe

2. winetricks -q mfc42

3. start fg715x.exe

$ wine fg715x.exe 
fixme:toolhelp:CreateToolhelp32Snapshot Unimplemented: heap list snapshot

fg715x.exe exit silently with the only log above.

F**K GFW ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Shield_Project ) , I am even unable to download python2.4 without freegate or something like that.

have got the same problem here. anyone knows how to fix it?

Hello folks,

works fine here with recent Wine version (finds servers and downloads some proxy lists).
Resolving 'fixed'.

$ sha1sum fg715x.exe 
b298f357fb1cef0cd5d50a11c79c6ceb565b881b  fg715x.exe

$ du -sh fg715x.exe 
2.0M	fg715x.exe

$ wine --version
wine-1.7.12
