Description Jarrad 2011-04-25 04:09:06 UTC
When running Unity 3D the application, for the most part works great, installs perfectly and runs perfectly, you can even edit and work on your projects.

On startup both the scene panel AND the game panel have a 3d context.

However when you press the play button, the 3d context in the game panel dissapears and Unity responds with the error

width <= 0 || height <= 0
UnityEditor.DockArea:OnGUI()

I have also tried removing the scene panel to see if that makes a difference, it does not.

Please find attached my log file.

This product is not supported via WineHQ bugzilla, you either need to file
a support ticket with Codeweavers or use plain WineHQ build of Wine.

Using Vanilla Wine32 1.3.15

I have tested and confirmed the exact same thing happens under wine 1.3.15

The game must be installed under Wine.

This ticket has not been updated for over 900 days. Development recommends
to check the status on your bug every release or two and let to be known if the bug is still present. If not, mark it fixed. If you are no longer able to put effort to this ticket, you can abandon it.

Is this still an issue with 1.7.4 or higher ?

The OP had a different video card, but if it helps this bug does not happen on the following configurations:
Ubuntu 13.10
Wine 1.7.15/.16/.17
Graphics card: NVIDIA Geforce 9600GT
NVIDIA driver (proprietary) 319
NVIDIA driver (open-source) 331.67/334.21/337.12

It seems this bug occurs due to a missing directory, creating the directory with the following path fixes the issue:
$WINEPREFIX/drive_c/users/$USER/AppData/LocalLow
