File create with command "nohup wine ./BB_LE.exe > wine.txt &"

Blood Bowl Legendary Edition installs without problem but cannot be run.

It seems to get stuck trying to remove game's log file, which is present in user's directory (NOT game's installation directory).

Launch of game could go further after renaming DFA.dll file (in game's installation directory) to rename.DFA.dll. This time it seems to get stuck initializing random seeds ("Init Random generators" trace is started but not ended in games log file).

This game is not available as a demo, but licence grants 3 possible activations (so that 2 are left for wine developers if needed).

Is this still an issue in the latest development version of wine?

I can confirm this does not happen anymore. Bug can be closed (I change status as resolved/worksforme).

Hereunder is what I've done and tested with more details. For info, I am playing with an Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS box.

Operations made:
- remove ~/.wine and ~/.PlayOnLinux directories
- add wine depot « ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa »
- install wine1.7 (this automatically removes wine1.4)

Tests made:
- launch game (starting video does not appear, but then menu is there)
- play a match against computer

I believe that (now) game can be played « out of the box » ! \o/

Well done Wine Team !

If updating wine solved the bug then the correct resolution is FIXED. Thanks for testing again.
