Boxes like the life bars and text boxes are drawn on windows but not drawn on wine, unless the specific game tweak "boxfix" is used.

Yeah, but it's written in DarkBASIC Pro. I don't think it will be useful.

Sadly the game is discontinued, but the testcase program still manifests the bug.

Thanks, I guess you saw my email. With the testcase the bug can still be tested with future wine releases.

Wine 1.4.1 and newer versions display the box when running the testcase (box.exe). Wine 1.3.37 and older have the missing box problem.
Marking fixed.
