Screenshot 'The Bat!' vs. KDE-taskbar

The caption of 'The Bat!'s window isn't shown anymore in KDEs taskbar. Before in the taskbar was printed: 'The Bat!' now is only empty or 'wine'. This is wrong.

This sounds like a regression, so what version works for you?

Regression test is just running and will need some time (old hardware ;-).
Last wine I had working was: wine v1.1.44.

Can't confirm, i see title bar in KDE v4.4.3. I can't even confirm two window in the task bar - just one and having the title.

I use KDE 3.5.10. The text of what is showen in KDEs Taskabr doesn't match with what the title caption of 'The Bat!' shows. See my screenshot.

Sorry I use the wrong words: when I use 'Alt-Tab' there is one instance running without a window.

See new screenshot.

Still can't confirm for KDE v4.4.3. See my screen shot... But i noticed, that there is <2> which looks like KDE recognize, that there are two windows and virtually merge them (just speculation!). I don't see <2> in any other cases, only with TheBat.

Should be fixed by 0dd44a3776da2f5a116ac24c8a876bf86517d9ad. On KDE you will now most likely run into bug 22917.
Comment 8 Joerg Schiermeier 2010-06-01 16:51:55 UTC
I just compile the lates wine:

Alexandre was right now the button for 'The Bat!' diappear from Kicker.

I would like to report this behaviour to the KDE project, because KDE 3.5 is still in development (Trinity-Project <http://trinity.pearsoncomputing.net>.
Maybe they can deal with this issue.

But this bug now disappear.

The bug could be _closed_.
Comment 9 Wylda 2010-06-08 08:42:35 UTC
For sure, i did the retest, whether the fix could break something in my case. Fortunately it worked before and works even now => perfect fix :)
Comment 10 Alexandre Julliard 2010-06-11 12:53:12 UTC
Closing bugs fixed in 1.2-rc3.
Comment 11 Joerg Schiermeier 2010-06-13 09:53:51 UTC
