newest 32 bit newsbin beta under wine (debian unstable)

After starting and using newsbin (usenet client)

The fixme is probably not the real problem. I can't reproduce a crash with wine-1.1.35-56-g13a9c03 using NewsBin Pro 5.53 Build 9507. Does the executable reside on a filesystem mounted noexec?

The version is 

wine-bin-unstable (1.1.32-1 [amd64, i386], 1.1.29-1 [powerpc])
    Windows API implementation - binary loader

At the moment, normal debian unstable amd64 bit version (debian unstable isn't 'unstable' but the packages which will come in the next relase).

It's not crashing and the err:ntdll: ... occures after some time downloading with several (10) download threads (sometimes after 3 minutes sometimes after 20 minutes) and the newsbin freezes and isn't reactive any more. The only chance is to kill the newsbin process and start over.

My system is Q6600 Quad Core, 8 GByte RAM, Radeon 3850 HD, 2.6.25-1 64 bitkernel, the filesystem isn't nonexec mounted (just a normal rootfilesystem with home directories attached). I have checked before for hardware errors (RAM, CPU, ...) with the Prime95 torture test so I most probably can exclude that external factor).

This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for 1 year. Is this still an issue in current (1.3.29 or newer) wine?

That is what i get with wine 1.3.37 & metaquotes 5 on ubuntu oneiric i386:

Hello folks,

works fine here, resolving 'fixed'.

$ sha1sum nb553-install.exe

$ wine --version
