Terminal output from a short game session.

Running Settlers of Catan o a clean wineprefix works fine, i.e. the game doesn't crash and there are no graphical glitches, but it runs very slow, making the game barely playable.

Attached is the console output of a game session where I created a game, played the first turn and then quit.

which video card and drivers?  Nothing to suggest the problem is in quartz, unsetting component.  If you want to figure out where the slowdown is try using oprofile.

I confirm the game runs slow with nvidia's binary driver 195. Running sysprof shows high cpu usage in /usr/bin/X and in catan.exe on memcpy() calls.

This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for 1.5 years.
Is this still an issue in current (1.3.32 or newer) wine?

Just tested with clean .wine on 1.3.33
The game runs well, but I'm with Core i7 and there are some sound glitches (will go in separate bug).
I don't see log message problems as in original reporter's log.
