runescape.exe (from URL) is a very simple IE engine front-end used as a "client" for a web-based Java game. After launching Java, when the user terminates the application, it disappears from the screen, but Wine is still running it.

To reproduce:
1. wine jre-6u12-windows-i586-p.exe
2. wine runescape.exe 
3. Select "click here to play"
4. Close the window once the applet has loaded
5. Note that 'runescape.exe' and 'wineserver' are still running processes

Doesn't fully load for me in wine-1.3.3-65-ga862b95.

This ticket has not been updated for over 900 days. Development recommends
to check the status on your bug every release or two and let to be known if the bug is still present. If not, mark it fixed. If you are no longer able to put effort to this ticket, you can abandon it.

Is this still an issue with 1.7.4 or higher ?

Updating download link; the old one returned "404 - Page not found."  

FWIW, the AppDB says the current client is platinum in 1.6.

Hello folks,

can't reproduce, works fine.
The client auto-updated itself on first start and then proceeded with "initial setup" (game settings).
I was presented a login page  ... so I couldn't test further.
The client and all Wine processes exit cleanly upon request.
