Wine Output

I'm trying to run Knights of the Old Republic II on my laptop with an Intel graphics card (which I understand may or may not be a good idea). When I do so, the app crashes with an unhandled page fault. The wine virtual desktop is just left with a full black screen. This did not occur (though the game did not work either) under 0.9.49. The full log is attached.

Please run a regression test:

Is there a demo of this available?
Comment 2 David Tomaschik 2007-12-06 14:09:29 CST
I can't find a demo of the game, unfortunately.

Also, it seems my original report was incorrect, the bug seems to have occured between 0.9.48 and 0.9.49, but remains in 0.9.50. Using git bisect, I was eventually able to arrive at this:

fb0dde7b274fb3a4b2f0f911c9114ce8a832b98e is first bad commit

I have recieved the exact same error when attempting to play both The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and Steel Panthers: World at War. This is using wine 0.9.51 on a laptop with an integrated intel graphics chipset. Both games crash to the wine desktop after a short pause where a black screen is shown. Attached is the log generated while running SP:WAW.

I can confirm this bug with WoW from Wine version .49 - .52. Unable to start WoW, neither in d3d nor opengl mode.

I have same issue with WoW and the x3100 card and i would really love if this could be solved as the app will simply not run for me, it just crashes every time I load it.

Same problem with all games I've tried (Melty Blood, Dark Colony, Starcraft!), with 0.9.48-0.9.54
Perhaps it's a general directx bug?

Problem is already fixed upstream in mesa, DRI. No crashes if using version from git.
